Make your own rosemary lavender Candle.

Pinterest is one of my favorite places to find DIY candle ideas.  Im stocking up on ideas for my holiday gifts.  Every year my two best friends make these amazing bath salts as my gift.  I thought seeing as I love candles so much making my own might be a fun idea.

What you will need:

  • 4 cups of soy wax or bees wax.  I don’t recommend paraffin wax as it has too many chemicals.
  • 2 wicks with the metal base
  • 2 tbsp of lavendar oil
  • 2 tbsp of rosemary oil
  • 2 glass jars
  • Double boiler
  • Cloths pin
  • 8 stems of lavendar (optional)
  • 2 stems of rosemary (optional)

Melt the wax in the double boiler and add both essential oils on low.

While your waiting set up your glass jars with the wick.  Make sure to hold in place with the cloths pin.

It is optional to add the stems of lavendar and rosemary whole to the jar.  I think it gives and added touch I like.  Then pour wax in the jar until 3/4 full. Then let the wax set before removing the cloths pin and cutting the wick.

I think seeing the whole lavendar and rosemary will look beautiful inside this candle.  Hope you enjoy.
